Setup Account
You can create an account at http://www.phototropic.co.uk/platypus/ only if you agree to the terms detailed herein as well our Privacy Policy which relates to collection of your personal information. Only one account can be created per person. Any attempts to create multiple accounts with the intent to utilize more than one trail period will be treated as violation of this agreement and we reserve the right to take legal action.
Trial Periods
When you create a Platypus account you will be given a 3 day “no-hassle” period which allows you to use Platypus for 3 days without having to set up a subscription. After that 3 day period you will need to setup a subscription through PayPal to receive a further 30 day free trial period. You can cancel your subscription at any time before this 30 day period is up and not pay any fees.
Subscription and Billing
Use of the Application is subject to the receipt of due fees detailed on the Website. Specifically, after any free trial periods have expired, the due fee is $5 per month. Payment is made through the PayPal Subscription system. When you start a subscription for the first time you will be given a 30 day free trial period. After this trial period is up the following months subscription fee will automatically taken from your PayPal account, providing you don’t cancel before that time. Thereafter you will automatically be billed $5 every 30 days, in advance for 30 days of account functionality, providing you don’t cancel your subscription. Your Platypus ‘Account Preferences’ will always indicate when your next payment will be taken. However, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of this information so please consult your PayPal account for full details of your subscription.
Cancellation
You can cancel your Platypus subscription at any time during your paid monthly period, or during the 30 days free trial period granted after a subscription has been set up. Your account will be instantly frozen and you will not be charged again. You can cancel by clicking the link in your Platypus ‘Account Preferences’ or by logging into your PayPal account directly. Either way you can then cancel the subscription from within your PayPal account.
If you cancel your subscription your account will still exist, in a frozen state. This enables you to re-subscribe at any time and restore your account to it's full functionality. If, for whatever reason, you would like to permanently remove you account from our database, please email us requesting to do so and we will delete your account data. We do however, reserve the right to keep a list of all PayPal addresses that have been used with a Platypus account to help prevent abuse of the trial periods.
We offer a no-refund policy on any subscription fee.
